About Us

We are Han and Liesbeth, Dutch with a three year training in New Zealand. Passionate cook and wine connoisseur. We love Italy, its food, culture and people. Romagna in particular.

We (re)discovered Romagna 16 years ago, after 58 years travelling throughout Italy. Indeed Han started travelling in his diapers as a newborn. We call it our second home. The first time we stayed in Romagna we thought: this is it: quiet, mountains and the sea closeby, beautiful views, typical Italian, with Italians who are generous and welcoming. Close to Bologna, Ravenna, Rimini and Ferrari. Our property lies in the culinary centre of Italy. Fresh seafood, pasta, truffle, game, you name it. Slowfood for us is a way of life. Our vegetable garden is organic and shared with our guests. Han is a enthusiastic golf player, with Riminiverucchio Golfclub as his home course. Other golf-courts are closeby. The heart of Romagna is virtually undiscovered by tourists and yet only 30 minutes from the Adriatic coast.

We run a small holiday home with only 2 apartments with Breakfast service if wanted. The apartments are roomy and luxuriously outfitted. Keywords: quiet, Italian food, Slowfood, wine, golf. Away from the crowds. We like to introduce you to the hidden Romagna with its fiestas and sagras. Places where you are often the only foreigner. We love to teach you what real Italian food is all about.

And we love to share it with you. Han is an enthusiastic hiker and golfplayer, with Riminiverucchio Golfclub his home course. Other golf-courses are closeby. The last year we laid out fiveteen new walking tracks together with friends.
